Hey guys. I was talking to a couple friends of mine and they would like to get into airsoft. Some of them have some guns (springers, Walmart specials, double eagle) and I think it would be kinda cool to maybe make an affiliate team like the way MLB Ted have double a and triple a. Or maybe a training program to help younger, less experienced players to get into airsoft. And if we make affiliate teams then we can maybe let people try out for them and when they get experienced, let them try out for MIO.

And they could practice along with us. And to raise money for other team related things we could do maybe a camp for younger players to learn the game. Would be fun and cool for the people who attend.

Sounds cool, but would be hard to maintain. It sounds good thinking about it, but actually doing it is harder than you think.

My friends used to do this and we raised fifty bucks for bbs for our old team.

Oh cool. Then I'm sure we could find out a way to do this. We would just need a decent field to work with and a way to get newbies to come.

Well, let's look at this from a parent's perspective. Your kid plays with these toy guns that shoot plastic pellets with some friends. Now they're being invited to go to some stranger's woods to play with the guns. Or that's at least how my mom would look at it. I know for sure some parents wouldn't like that idea. So I'm thinking we may want to find a legitimate field to use for these "lessons" or whatever you guys want to call them.
