Probably an AFG, but it's about personal preference. Angled grips give the shooter more control and feels a little more natural being that your hand is in a position similar to a standard hold. I saw a hardcore milsimmer took a stubby foregrip (I believe it was specifically a Magpul RVG) with a cut/compromised Magpul AFG. It looked pretty cool and it gave him the amount of control and reduction of sway he was looking for. If you get the AFG make sure you get Magpul not an offbrand, otherwise you could get basically any vertical grip, based on what you're looking to get out of the grip.

I do like the feel of the Mappul AFG. I plan on using it on my dmr rifle. Its going to have a bipod on it so the VFG seems best so i can have something to hold on to while going prone. I see a lot of people these days using the AFG but most military (U.S Army) guys use the VFG because they feel its better for combat situations.

I see. With a bipod you're definitely going to want a VFG. I would suggest a Tango Down style or Magpul RVG. I have also seen people just put a handstop on and use it to pull back into their shoulder.
